Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your lodge. After a short briefing from your Gusa Travels guide, you'll set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park, traveling along the scenic Kampala-Mbarara road. Along the way, you’ll pass through small towns, witness traditional drum makers, explore roadside markets, and make a memorable stop at the Equator for photos.
After an en route lunch, continue to the park, check into your lodge, and—if time allows—embark on an evening game drive to spot some of Africa’s iconic wildlife.

Start your day with an early morning game drive in Kasenyi Plains, a prime location for spotting lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, and various antelopes. Wildlife sightings depend on the day's luck, but the park’s diversity ensures a thrilling experience.
Return to the lodge for lunch, then head to Mweya Peninsula for a two-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This waterway boasts the highest concentration of hippos in the world and attracts over 400 bird species. You’ll also spot elephants, crocodiles, and buffaloes as they gather along the banks.
