Tour Plan
Your adventure begins in Kigali, where your guide will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM. Before departing for Uganda, enjoy a guided city tour, visiting:
- The Kigali Genocide Memorial
- The local artisan markets
- The former presidential palace museum
After the city tour, we cross into Uganda, passing through breathtaking landscapes, rolling hills, and lush forests. Expect a 6-hour scenic drive to Kibale National Park, home to 13 primate species, including over 1,500 chimpanzees.

After an early breakfast, we head to the park headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking. Kibale National Park offers the best chance to see chimpanzees in their natural habitat. The trek takes about 3–5 hours, and you’ll have an hour to observe the chimps up close.
After lunch, we drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most scenic wildlife reserve.

Start the day with an early morning game drive to see lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and various antelope species. After lunch, embark on a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, a hotspot for hippos, crocodiles, and incredible birdlife.

The highlight of your safari! After an early breakfast, you’ll receive a briefing from park rangers before trekking to see mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. After lunch, we drive back to Kigali, where you’ll be dropped off at the airport or your hotel.
